Restorative Care of America Specialty Orthoses Made in the USA by RCAI

Can you wear a knee immobilizer and use crutches?

A:   It is recommended by physical therapists that you should use crutches when using a knee immobilizer. The purpose of a knee immoblizer is to avoid the bending of the knee and is not intended to support your weight. RCAI now offers numerous knee immobilizers for consumer care at home which until recently were only available to medical professionals and clinicians.
