WHAT'S NEW

The Respond ROM BKA Rigid Dressing (350-KCO-RD) prevents or corrects knee flexion contractures in the below-the-knee amputee prior to prosthetic fitting. The orthosis features an adjustable bivalve shell to accommodate edematous sizing changes of the residual limb throughout the healing process. Incorporates the Respond ROM Range of Motion hinge with flexion/extension stop. Breathable foam liner. Includes Distal cap.

The Neoprene Shoulder Stabilizer (715-NSS) by RCAI is indicated for subluxation after stroke, post-operative stabilization, and shoulder pain. Made of washable, perforated airprene material.

The Pediatric Deluxe Abdominal Binder (PD-703-Dx-AB) gives support to the lower torso to reduce muscle fatigue and strain. It reinforces muscles used for respiration to improve aerobic performance, reduces musculoskeletal vibration caused by riding, sports, or physical labor. Evenly distributes compression. Unisex. Hook and loop elastic closure. White.

The new Draw String LSO (454-DS-LSO) by RCAI is indicated for chronic back pain, spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic lumbar instability, herniated lumbar disc, compression fracture, and degenerative disk disease. Rigid thermoplastic anterior and posterior panels with lateral polymer stays provide effective stabilization of the spine. Lateral nylon cinch strings allow for added circumferential support and compression, and provide a lower profile contoured fit.

The new Ambidextrous Wrist Brace (518-AWB) by RCAI accommodates both the right or left hand, reducing inventory needs. It features a pre-contoured, bendable palmar stay to assure enhanced stabilization of the wrist. The new Ambidextrous Wrist Brace by RCAI is indicated for carpal tunnel syndrome, postoperative stabilization after cast removal, wrist sprains, arthritis and tendonitis of the wrist.

The new Humeral Arm Brace System (94HABS) by RCAI offers quadrilateral compression of the humerus and forearm providing optimal ROM and rotational control of the arm following post-surgical or post injury indications. The hinge features flexion/extension ROM control setting of the elbow in 10° increments. An optional supination/pronation attachment is available for prescribed positioning. Manufactured of trimmable polyethylene, and lined with closed-cell foam, it is lightweight, durable, and cannot harbor moisture. Humeral and forearm stockinette included.

The new ROM Knee Brace (95ROM-KO) by RCAI is indicated for controlled range of motion following ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL injuries, meniscal repairs, patella tendon repairs, condylar fractures, sprains, strains, instability of the knee and total knee replacement. The new Dorsal Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint (222-DPFS) by RCAI offers a lightweight, dorsal stretch to the Achilles tendon, calf and plantar fascia for the treatment of plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendonitis, reducing the risk of further strain. The low profile design of Dorsal Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint assures patient comfort and compliance while sleeping or at rest. A non-skid plantar pad prevents slipping when walking to the bathroom. The calf and heel design securely holds the foot in the desired angle.

The new Thoracic Lumbar Support with Universal Sizing (463-TLS-S) by RCAI features "two sizes fits all", cutting down on inventory and assuring proper patient fit. This lightweight, TLSO design offers a low profile approach in the stabilization of the thoracic spine following injury, post surgery or disease states.

The new Adjustable Ankle-Foot Orthosis (70AAFO) by RCAI maintains medial/lateral ankle stability while offering dynamic spring assist in returning the foot to the neutral position.

The new Pediatric Wrist/Thumb Support (504-PWTS) by RCAI prevents unwanted flexion and extension of the wrist while allowing unrestricted motion of the fingers. The pre-contoured palmar stay is bendable for customization.

The new HD Pediatric Hip (96HD-BHAO) by RCAI controls or prevents deformity after soft tissue release and other hip surgeries for children with Cerebral Palsy. It can be fitted as a postoperative brace, or can be used post cast removal.

The new Deluxe Wrap Knee (571-DxWNKO) by RCAI provides functional knee stabilization for ACL, PCL, MCL, and LCL instabilities. It offers flexion/extension control settings in 15° increments, with a 10° hyperextension stop set.
